In last week's homily I told the story about Thomas More and how he ended up losing everything for the sake of the Truth. I made what has possibly turned out to be a prophetic statement.  Close to the conclusion I said

"We are already seeing that if one voices an opinion that goes against political correctness, that person could be vilified and lose their job or business."

The American Spectator filed a story last week that Fr.Daniel Moloney was forced out of his position as Catholic Chaplain at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) for writing the truth within the guidelines of Catholic Social teaching.

The following is a close approximation of the homily that I was privileged to deliver at the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM Mass at St Luke the Evangelist Church for the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A.  The scripture readings are on which this is based can be found by this link

Examining someone’s actions over the course of their life, you can generally tell what or who they love and of what or who they fear.
